Fulton County Opens New Tax Commissioner Office in Alpharetta

The Fulton County Tax Commissioner’s newest office, located at 11575 Maxwell Road, Suite 100, Alpharetta, GA 30009, will celebrate a grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

Fulton County Tax Commissioner Dr. Arthur E. Ferdinand will host the celebratory Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House, as means of acknowledging and thanking government officials and citizens for their cooperation towards the successful completion of thenew state-of-the-art office.

The Tax Commissioner’s current Alpharetta office will move from 3155 Royal Drive, Suite 165, Alpharetta, GA 30004 to the new location at the Water Resources Operations Center, 11575 Maxwell Road, Suite 100, Alpharetta, GA 30009. The office will occupy 7,000 square feet on the first floor of the Water Resources Operations Center.

“In an effort to continue providing great customer service and convenience to Fulton County citizens, our newest location will have the space and technology to efficiently and effectively serve more residents in an expedient manner,” said Fulton County Tax Commissioner Dr. Arthur E. Ferdinand.

The Fulton County Tax Commissioner is responsible for the collection of Property Taxes for Fulton County Government, Fulton County and City of Atlanta schools, the State of Georgia, and the cities of Atlanta, Mountain Park, Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, and Chattahoochee Hills. The Tax Commissioner’s office is also responsible for collecting Motor Vehicle Ad Valorem Taxes, Tag and Title Fees, and Transfer Fees for all Fulton County citizens.

The new office space is American with Disabilities Act compliant and offers a better experience for customers. The Tax Commissioner’s office will feature a wonderful customer service and process workflow with a new qmatic system, 12 tellers, seating for a capacity of 100, and a child area; which includes an interactive exploration mural. The location will also provide free ample parking.
